Using Single Post Template 7 as a Page Template

Hey Team, 1st i want to thank you for your perfectly working theme! I`m very happy with my purchase.

The one thing i need and want is the Post Template 7 (its perfect for me and i want it on posts and pages) as a Page Template. Ive copy pasted it into a page-template.php and can use it successfully as a page template. BUT my copy pasted page template doesnt load the author box and the item scope meta tags are not right/missing.

What do i have to change to make the Post Template 7 working flawlessly as a Page Template with all funktions it has as a Post.

Thanks a lot!

Regards
Robert

Hello mertensr,

Unfortunately, please notice that here is talking about two different things, the POST pages, and PAGE. The theme does not have any such an option that allows you to use the post template for page template, sorry! All of these has different functionalities. I suggest you use the Cloud Template Library to create your own template according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hey Catalin,

thanks for your reply. Im AWARE that these are 2 different things. And as i wrote its working for me. The only thing i want from you guys is a php code snipped which i can put into my new page-template to show the author box + item scope meta tags on the page w that template.

I dont care if its not pefect codewise or if i cant use your backand funktions on that particular page-template that i have copy+pasted from the post-template-7. it looks as i want it on the front end and google can flawlessly read it – enough for me.

What i dont want is to build or check other templates whith editior … it would just take me hours to get a result thats allready there in your post-template-7.

<?php
/* Template Name: Page+Mainimage */

locate_template('includes/wp_booster/td_single_template_vars.php', true);

$td_post_featured_image = td_util::get_featured_image_src($post->ID, 'full');

Hello mertensr,

Did you have tried to create your desired homepage using the Cloud Templates Library? Using this functionality, the theme allows you to use the TD Composer which gave you a lot of functionalities and elements which can be added to your template. Also, notice that the theme core files for post template can be found here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XfiUVKkEuE78 and for the page, the template can be found here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ZjlMlDjb6Gu

Thanks for the message!
