Somehow I can’t edit text in a post using Visual Composer. Please see attachment

First of all, all the text are is there but font color is white.
2nd, there is no txt editor icons for me to format my content.
I thought it supposes to look like this

I use to have WPEdit, but WPEdit can build page, so i switch to VC, but VC does not give me an option to modify text. Am I the only one who get this error? Should i reinstall VC?

Please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP method and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Notice that the WordPress is fully tested with the theme and until now we have not encountered any issues in this regard. Try my advice according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/ Also, please check your system status to be increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Check your PHP memory and increase theme because it may be exhausted.
Also, please notice that our theme has not been tested with WPEdit and we cannot say for sure if it will work or not with our product, sorry! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins.

I just want to confirm these below before I proceed.
1) I need to delete current newspaper theme (using delete option in WP) then install it again using FTP.
2) Delete/Deactivate any plugins that does not come with newspapers theme
3) I only see .htaccess but not .hthaccess. Are they different files?
4) If it is .htaccess, should I insert these code at the end, after line </IfModule>, before line # END WordPress

5) How do I know if I have SUHOSIN installed? Please look at attachment, does this mean I have SUHOSIN installed and it should be fixed in php.ini?

I guess that your problem with Visual Composer regarding on unavailability of text editor button is not affected by system status. I suppose that rather is a WordPress issue related. Notice that the theme have only the .htaccess and this file should have to respect the default structure of it, as you can see in our documentation here -> http://screencast.com/t/e38Irdz8ZJd This is the standard structure of this file.
Regarding on Suhosin, please keep in mind that this is just a server module and you should try reading all documentation of your host because this setting is related to your server.
