VERY confused with the Newspaper AMP setup

Hello guys, I have just switched from Soledad to Newspaper.

Soledad had a URL structure of /amp/ whereas Newspaper uses ?amp

Now all of the /amp/ URLs in Google present a 404.

I am guessing I need a 301 redirect? do I redirect /amp/ to ?amp or /?

I am also not sure on best practices regarding the mobile theme and AMP. Any suggestions?

for now I have redirected / to /?amp=1

and /amp/article to /article/?amp=1

I have set the mobile theme to mobile + amp.

I am looking for max speed ideally.

Hello,

Normally, those problems will be resolved after Google will re-index all the AMP links.

Thank you!

I don’t think it’s wise to just allow URL’s to 404. I guess I’ll just stick to the 301 I had created.

Hello,

Our theme doesn’t have a cache for AMP, this comes from the cache plugin you use, also the theme does not control how Google indexes the links, that’s why you have to ask Google to reindex your website.

Thank you!

There is a system and way to clean Google amp cache, Like I already sayd this is payid premium support, you can give more than this because this is not a answer that holds premium help.

thx
