Hello akaii,
Unfortunately, this kind of plugin has not been tested with our theme, sorry! Also, you can try use such an embedded code like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/bLvQ8KnpV1P You will bring the same results.
Also, you can try using this plugin but we cannot say for sure if it will work or not and that’s why we cannot provide support for untested plugins.
Thanks for your understanding!
iframe works?
Also, it seems the theme is automatically turning the embeds into spanish. Look:
I would love to know how you are getting iframe to work as I have tried adding iframe code from youtube videos and vimeo into the featured video section on post edit.

When you visit the page and press play the video does not play and shows this;

If you know of way to use iframe, I would love to know as not overly keen on just using video links as you cannot use the embed options.
Hello InspireORB,
Most likely, that video does not work because it’s broken or it’s private and cannot be viewed but only if you will be logged in. This is the only way of adding a video from youtube ->with embedded code-iframe or simply add the video URL in the post content.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hey Catalin…
Using the embed iframe code does not work on any videos I try and use, believe me I have tried many times as most of my posts are either youtube or vimeo videos.
When you say…”video does not work because it’s broken or it’s private and cannot be viewed but only if you will be logged in”
Firstly they are not broken or private, because when I add the iframe embed code into the post text field, it works fine. See here.. http://www.inspireorb.com/you-create-your-reality/ – and what has being logged in got to do with anything… logged into what exactly.. but that aside…
…Here you can see i have used the embed code in the featured video and in the text section. Also video theme template 9 is in use.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0Gk1ZDZ_J2uVENOQk0xUVV2MUU/view?usp=sharing
So what do you have to say to this…?
Surely if the embed code iframe works ok in the post text field, why is it not working in the featured video section with your video templates?
Hello akaii,
Please check the following topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/embedded-facebook-is-in-wrong-language/ and try to use the solution from there.
Thanks for your understanding!
Akaii… how am I hijaking, the issue I am raising is the same as yours.. what’s your problem??!! I would understand your point if there was no crossover whatsoever.
Catalin.. said you can use iframe, and we have both asked how!
I was looking for answers to the same issue you are experiencing and was given this thread in the search results. Trying to find an answer to this just as you are pal.
I do not see the point in opening another thread on the same issue.. where is the sense in that as the solution is going to be the same. It’s called being efficient and preventing the support guys from answering the same questions multiple times on multiple threads.
I though that was the whole purpose of this being an open chat forum.

Hi Catalin,
The site’s default is English. It’s something specific with the theme turning it into Italian. I’ve never had this issue with any of the 15+ themes I’ve used – until switching to this one.
I also checked with my staff. All of whom confirmed they are using the English link.

I checked the source of page and it’s showing me this:
<div class="td-pb-span8 td-post-featured-video">
<div class="wpb_video_wrapper"><div id="fb-root"></div>
<script>(function(d, s, id) {
var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
if (d.getElementById(id)) return;
js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;
js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/it_IT/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.10";
fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
}
We can see the /it_IT/
Hello,
To clarify any concerns about this topic, please keep in mind that in the Featured Video field, you cannot add any iframe code but you only have to add only the video’s link from YouTube, Vimeo, and Dailymotion, as you can see in our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/ Unfortunately, the video from JW Player cannot be loaded to be featured video, sorry! Also, in other cases, like in post content, for example, the iframe/embedded code can be used because the theme will recognize them. I hope it was pretty clear and I hope to close this thread!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello akaii,
All of these settings notice that you can do it directly from YouTube or according to the following topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/embedded-facebook-is-in-wrong-language/ Also, you can check these -> https://stackoverflow.com/questions/24868226/how-do-you-mute-an-embedded-youtube-player -> https://www.labnol.org/internet/embed-mute-youtube-video/29149/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello akaii,
For facebook video embeds, please check here -> https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/embedded-video-player/?prefill_href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FIulianDumitrescuPNL%2Fvideos%2F940807222743086%2F#configurator
Thanks.
Catalin,
It’s been 7 days and 18 posts and we still haven’t progressed.
The theme is turning the Facebook video embeds/player in Italian as well as muted by default.
I have a staging copy of my website and I tested it with other themes. It’s only coming from the Newspaper theme.
