Not sure what to enter in the id field, whether its the video id, the user id, or the channel id, which ever way nothing shows up.

After doing that I saw this…..

I even copied the code exactly from the example link you sent and then pasted it in the text editor and it didnt work. Ill give it a go later today and disable the other youtube plugins and see. Will update you.

Please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and clear your cache. This could be a plugin conflict. Also make sure you use the latest version of the theme. You can update following this guide if needed:
