We are having issues with our visual composers.
I did delete and reinstalled it according to direction for updating the plugging.
Here is what is happening:
We need to create custom pages.
When I go to a page and click on the back end editor and add elemens. No elements are shown

Additionally I believe that Visual composer has a front end editor but I’m never able to see it on our website.

At first I thought maybe I have to purchase a separate license but upon reading more I learned that it’s the same.
What do you think is happening?

Please make sure you have installed correctly this plugin. Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme. This kind of issue might be caused by conflicting plugins. Please notice that Visual Composer is tested with our theme and works as expected.

That fixed about 50 percent of the issue by de-activatig all other plugins.

However I still dont see the front end editor.

They have a front end editor and back end editor.
Currently on the newspaper theme I only see the back end editor.
We should be able to switch between front end and back end editor.

According to their video we should be able to preview mobile or tablet view
But I can’t see where to do that.

We have disabled the Frontend Editor from Visual Composer Plugin because this option generated some incompatibilities with our theme and we have decided to move out of the theme. If you want to enable this, you should remove/comment this snippet of the code, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/7ivn03klZWv
