Hi there,
I purchased this theme with the impression and false advertising that it comes with the all mighty visual composer. As a newbie this was really awesome. Now as far as I’m aware Tag Div have deactivated this front end feature?
I even went ahead and purchased the full version again and reinstalled it as all the advertisements and forums said I have to purchase the licence to have its full function. Still nothing. In fact it does not recognise my licence either. It seems that the themes integrated VC over rides my download and installation?
Please advise, as I find it a little finicky to edit from a list of fields…Very frustrated at this stage and would greatly appreciate the use of the front end version of VC.

I’m sorry for the misunderstanding but we never advertised that the plugin can or should be activated. We state the opposite in our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
You do not have to buy it and do not have to activate it as it’s a free version we provide bundled with our theme.
The front-end editor has been disabled from our theme as it created problems and could not be used. Our theme is adapted to work properly with visual composer as we created our own modules and blocks to work with the plugin.
You can only use visual composer in the back-end at the moment. Please follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/

Thanks for the reply it’s unfortunate. Do you see this being reactivated in the near future?
I also wanted to ask – the visual composer website has many add ons you can purchase. Is this able to integrate into the themes VC if I am to purchase the add ons? If not how can I obtain more blocks/features/widgets etc for the visual composer?

Unfortunately we have not tested these add-ons so we cannot say for sure if they will work or not with our theme as we do not own a copy of these add-ons. The only extra features available for visual composer are the ones we provide that are theme specific: http://screencast.com/t/Cc3ol8h3iWL8
