Visual Composer Plugin and WordPress v4.7

Hi,

As you are aware of WordPress v4.7 release, can we update to v4.7 will there be any issue? Secondly, how can I update Visual Composer plugin to the latest version. At the moment I am using v7.5 of your theme

Hi,

We have tested the theme with the beta version and we did not found any issues and also now we use wordpress 4.7 on our local install. Also we did not received any reports in this regard so the theme should work properly with wordpress 4.7.
However it is always recommended to make a full backup before any update – https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
Newspaper 7.5 contains version 4.12.1 of Visual Composer. In the next theme version will will provide the latest version of Visual Composer available on the market and you will be able to update it – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
We plan to release an update. most probably next week.
