I’ve been having trouble with Visual Composer, which is probably no surprise to anyone, it looks like it may require an update. I was able to find come coding fixes online which have improved the problems I am having…. But I am still not getting 100% fully functional and I figured I would register here and see if anyone can help me with a work-around, which may also help others.

I spent sometime last evening and was able to improve the editor from this link.
But it is still not perfect. I think my ideal workaround would be finding someone who can actually share with me the shortcodes for the Newspaper style being used here as Magazine: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_magazine/
If someone has the shortcodes for this style and could share the entire block of code with me (the code that would appear in the BACKEND EDITOR I think I can get this done the old fashion way…

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.5) and also, the latest version of required plugins that come bundled with the theme packet (VC 4.12.1 and Social Counter 4.1). Keep in mind that our theme is fully compatible and tested with our theme and seems to work as expected until now. This is exactly what I needed thank you. It looks as though I am using Newspaper V 6.5.1 – I do not see any update notifications anywhere so I have not even thought about updating it. As far as the Plugin, I am using WPBakery Visual Composer Version 4.7.4 (VC Seems up to date but maybe it is the wrong VC Plugin). Thank you again.

Please try to update the theme to the latest version of it via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Please notice that the theme is changing a lot and if you want to bring best results you should keep up the steps with our updates because we cannot provide support for older versions of the theme. Notice that the WordPress has been changed and if you are using the latest version of it with an older version of theme it will not work.
Try to update the theme to the latest version of it and also, use only the latest version of required plugins in order to bring best results.
