Hello,

Please keep in mind that the simplest way to achieve this is to install that demo from Theme panel, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-installing-demos/ Also, please notice that it’s too hard to customize your actual theme’s layout to look similar with the demo, sorry! This task involves doing such an additional customizations and notice that we cannot provide this kind of services at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

Thanks but I installed the desired theme without content and that did almost nothing but change the font a a few colours and text.

Please provide a viable solution or explain why this one did not work.

Thanks,
Peter

Hello,

YOur content should be loaded to new demo installed because your data has been loaded into your database. After this demo has been installed, try to check each block from there and check the settings. Notice that some blocks are filtered after featured category and you may not have posted in that category and that’s why to appear nothing. Check it with more attention the theme layout.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello, I do not quite understand.i have thousands of articles. What do you mean my “content should be loaded to new demo installed”? Why does the new template simply not realign how things are displayed in the old vew to how things are displayed in the new theme?

Thanks

Hi,

This has nothing to do with the articles. Installing the demo without content will import theme panel settings and custom design. If you install only settings from a demo, the custom design will apply to the homepage for example only if the same elements are used (same blocks, grids etc, same header and footer styles).
The demo you are referring to uses these elements
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/big-grid-3/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/block-1/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/block-16/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/block-2/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/block-14/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/block-11/
If you use these elements in the page, then if the demo has design for them it will apply.
All this custom design can be seen here
https://www.screencast.com/t/XlkgWrGQ
The homepage content can be seen in the same folder

Hopefully this is useful to you.

Thanks

Hello,

Thanks for your response, but it does not help me.

Let me ask my question a different way: how can I add the first 4 blocks bellow the BIG GRID of this theme: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/ to my homepage of pavlikeni.com. Mind you, my site is using that same theme.

Thanks.
