website didn't display correctly after theme updated

Hi,

My website was updated to Newspaper Theme Version: 12.1 few days ago.

It looks fine when in the backend.(https://imgur.com/aXLm0L3)
However, in the frontend, it is full of garbled text like this.(https://imgur.com/7XqZeJv)

Can you guys help me with this problem? Thanks a lot!

I’ve checked your website and it seems to be working well now. Did you manage to solve the issue? 
I would gladly recommend you make a backup and update plugins and the theme via file transfer to the latest update: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Thanks for reply.
I changed my Newspaper Version from 12.1 to 12. So it seems fine right now.

But I wonder how to update my Newspaper version successfully without any garbled text.

Hello @terzaplus !

Deactivate all the extra non-tagdiv plugins and then try to update the theme via FTP as I described above.
