I was wondering. What Does Newspaper’s Latest Update Include?
When I attempted to update my envato newspaper for the first time with the latest update and when i clicked the update button a pop up appeared warning me that “Updating this theme will loose all customization…” Although I already backed it up, these words stopped me in my track. Before i click the button i would like to know what the updates include? what will i benefit from the update? and most importantly does the site need the updates?

Hi,
What version of the theme do you use? If you use version 4 and you upgrade to version 6 please note that you will have to add again all custom modifications including custom css. Please follow this guide to update from version 4 – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
If you already use version 6 and you only want to update to the latest version 6.3.2 you can check the update_log file to see the changes that were made. When you update you will lose custom modifications to the files, as it will overwrite the files, but no Theme Panel customizations or custom css.
