I’m updating from 8 to 8_1 and I see this folder. What are the contents in here and what is its significance to the update? Is there anything manual I have to do with this?
These are the files that have changed from version 8.0 to version 8.1.
You can upgrade from version 8.0 to version 8.1 by simply copying those files over the existing ones. However, this process is for advanced users.
The most correct and safe way to update is update the theme via FTP: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Also remember to update the included plugins along with the theme, from the theme package.
