Please, I’m using the News page as homepage. Some things I’m customizing through the page called News but I am not finding where to change the block of Latest articles. I do not find this block on the NEWS page and neither do I find it in APPEARANCE -> WIDGETS. Any tips on how to proceed?
I also would like to create blocks with different contents (not articles) such as showing Buddypress members or the latest BBPress posts, but I can do it only with widgets in the sidebar but I want it in the main page. Would it be possible to help with these 2 items?

I found the latest articles block. Now I´m looking for footer customization. I see 3 widgets there but they are not in the appearence -> widgets neither in the visual composer.

Some footer templates have predefined content in their structure, while other templates are blank

The predefined content cannot be removed in the widgets options.
You simply have to choose an empty footer template, and add the desired widgets in the three footer sections

Hi,
I am attempting to address a similar issue. On my homepage, the LATEST ARTICLES is displayed below my header but just above the footer section, and I cannot identify which option will modify this section. Again it is just above the footer section and displays latest articles but it is below all of the content I have added myself to the page below the header.
