I just finished my article I was going to advertise with, and I noticed on the side an article that came with the theme saying “The Hottest Wearable Tech and Smart Gadgets of 2016”, and under that there was another article that mentions 2016. I went to newspaper settings and it says everything is up to date. Any ideas?

I think that you have installed a demo with content, is very possible that the demo you are using to be from 2016, for example the Gadgets demo has articles that mentions 2017 -> https://i.imgur.com/1KoZeLh.jpg -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_gadgets/
We recommend to use your own content, the one from our demos is just to see how the demo will look like.
