Hi,
For the classic editor plugin, the sidebar can be removed only from those files, for this you need to go in -> wp-content/themes/Newspaper/editor-style.css and comment these lines of css -> https://imgur.com/EpWJhGZ

Good afternoon
How should I comment out the lines, and which ones?
We also have this problem where half the space is taken up by the sidebar when creating news items.

Hi cyberlab,
If you have the last theme version Newsapper 12.7.5 that sidebar should no longer be displayed ( the theme can be update dusing this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/)

We have installed
Advanced Editor Tools – Extends and enhances the block editor (Gutenberg) and the classic editor (TinyMCE).
and
Disable Gutenberg Disables Gutenberg Block Editor and restores the Classic Editor and original Edit Post screen. Provides options to enable on specific post types, user roles, and more.

Hi,
Please do a test install teh classic editor and disable the one you use and see if the problem is resolved, also make sure that all cache on your browser has been cleaned.
Thank you!

Hello
Okay, the sidebar line has been removed. But what about those who are already used to seeing the sidebar line?

Is there a way to see it again? Or a way to make it optional?

I’m thinking of going back to the previous version just because of this.

Hi tobiasinfo,
There is no option to bring it back. That sidebar line is no longer useful in the theme since the Cloud Templates were integrated into the theme and even more so now that Gutenberg is the main WordPress editor.
If you can let me know how this is helping you with now, do you have only standard templates? Now what I can do is to create a code in a child theme to add it back
