Why Newspaper 6?

Hi Emil G,

Thanks for you reply, I’ve finally worked it out and got the previous layout back this morning, a breath of relief at last, lol!

So I do apologise for my previous rantings, but it was very frustrating.

Now, as to the shopping cart, I decided to use something else instead, one further thing, I can’t find how to show the post views on pages like I was doing on Version 5 in blocks.

So, here is the Version 5 where the views show on the front page: rchelicoptersetup.com

And here is the Version 6: walesexpress.com

Should I open a ticket about this or is there an update you need to do?

I also cannot find the enable or disable feature on Version 6.

Hi,

Unfortunately we removed this option so in version 6 of the theme the post views can be enabled/disabled only for post template, it is not available for modules/blocks like in version 4, sorry! Only comments count can be displayed on blocks/modules liek you can see also on our demo – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/

These days views are more powerful than comments, so it would be nice if you guys bring that back again in a later update.

Hi,

Unfortunately we don’t plan to add post views on modules again, but I have added this on our list and if more users will demand this we will think to add it again. If you want to add it againon some modules that you use please check this topic(answer 4) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/many-issues-with-new-v6-update/ and do this for each module.
