Why Posting An Article On Facebook Shows 2 Images
this is really annoying since i have to click the other image to be de selected
but can really do it on mobile

This only applies with the theme default settings. If you use any external plugins for content, then we cannot say for sure why facebook picks up 2 images. Please provide a link so we can inspect.

the problem is sharing it directly to facebook and not from clicking the share
Facebook will do this sometimes if there is more than one image; such as an optimized version being served for mobile, or a version converted by mod_pagespeed to webp format, or a background image and a featured image in post. Just pick one and move on with your life 🙂
it’s doing it on all page.. i want to move on with my life but posting on mobile is a hassle.
only 1 image on post but it’s getting 2. if you post a lot on facebook you’ll understand what im talking about. the main reason why i want that out is because thousands of people are sharing our links and i don’t want them to be sharing it like that. it decrease the reach

I’m not sure exactly why this happens as the standard share works properly. Please test our demo at http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ and share a post from there. I shared one of your posts but could not see any double images at all. If our demo does not provide double images, then it;s something from your side that has to be investigated, but unfortunately this could be a number of things as Chris stated above.
