I’m just new to using this theme, struggling a bit to work with the blocks. I had set up an install with just the theme, and was able to figure some stuff out. I decided that i could try to add the theme to the actual site i want to change the theme to, and not getting the same results.
I am able to add blocks to the page, but somehow the widget block does not want to work. When i pull it into that spot, it gives me a line something like ———, and tho i can set the sidebar to use, it won’t take it. I’ve tried disabling all the plugins but something seems to be off. Wondering if you can help

So you have set as a homepage a page that was build with tagDiv Composer, if is so then the sidebar need to be set with tagDiv Composer

Hi, I’m trying to get to a look where i have two sidebars, a right and left one. I was trying to trouble shoot by disabling plugins as it’s not working well. it’s how i want it at the moment https://www.westislandblog.com/newspapertheme/new-home/ but once the widget element is in there, it’s hard to click on and edit. It seems better when i save the page and go back to it, so thinking as long as that’s the case i can work with it.
