Why isn’t WP Total Cache plugin compatible with the Newspaper theme? I was going to use WP Essentials on my hosting plan but it uses WP Total Cache.

Hi,
In some cases or maybe in combination with other plugins, that caching plugin is known to create problems with the theme. For other users it could be working properly, maybe it is just a matter of configuration. You can search here on the forum for known issues, or maybe other users can share their caching settings for best results.
The recommended caching plugin is WP Super Cache with these settings

It looks like those instructions are for an older version of Total Cache.
