WPBakery Visual Composer – update plugin problem

Hello vexteo,

Hi I search forum and find answer for activating problem:

You do not need to activate your copy of Visual Composer as it’s a free version bundled with the theme that does not require any activation. The only way you can activate it is to buy the plugin and receive a purchase code but you do not need to do that. It is mentioned here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

And, that is ok, but I can’t update plugin, get this message:

There is a new version of WPBakery Visual Composer available. View version 5.2 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin. To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit settings to activate your Visual Composer. Got Visual Composer in theme?

Now, is there a way to update this plugin ?

You don’t have to activate the Visual Composer plugin, it’s already activated. Ignore the activation message. It will appear for everyone. You will get the latest version of Visual Composer in the next theme update.
