how can I translate Logo (logo image url) in Newspaper theme? I have followed the steps at WPML https://wpml.org/forums/topic/logo-translation-4/, but it seems to not work with the Newspaper theme.
As you state on ThemeForest.net the theme is WPML compatible, so can you help me to solve this?

Search for the td_011 referrence

Inside that search for the tds_logo_upload term and select it

Then click on apply on the bottom of the page

That field will appear in the suggested screen, where you can set a different logo

I follow all these steps, I get a “Data saved” message, but eventually the admin_texts_td_011 domain is not created and the selected strings are nowhere to be found in the String translation screen.

The same should happen for you. In this test I used the latest version of the theme and WPML plugins. Also note the theme requirements and WPML requirements

I tried a dozen of times but this is not going to work. The strings don’t get created. Is there any other workaround?
That would be the only way to do it. So you select the field I mentioned and click apply

That would work I have tested it multiple times. The only way the string would not appear is if there are problems when saving after you select the string. I had this problem previously, I believe I fixed it by increasing the max-input_vars
