Hi,
Suppose I have an image of 800×400, and when The site generates thumbnail of size 600×600 for new image, it is possible to zoom out and generate thumbnail with white background, so that full image is visible in thumbnail?

Hi,
The thumb should be generate in that way to be display the entire image, if you want to have more control over the thumbs you can use flex blocks and big grid flex these elements has more options for thumbs -> https://i.imgur.com/kaFLiFP.png
