I am not sure if saying Disqus “is not a tested plugin” is completely accurate.. more like an “incompatible plugin”. Not sure why TagDiv doesn’t get in touch with Disqus developers, since the platform is popular, and resolve the issue.

Disqus Plugins work with most other themes flawlessly.

Is this on any roadmap? For me and I think many, it’s a real blocker. Both Newspaper and Disqus are quite popular, so it is disappointing that the theme and plugins do not work together. The Universal Code is a mere work around.

Any idea when the team will fix this? The Disqus plugins work with hundreds of other themes, but no longer Newspaper (it did previously).

Sorry I should have been more clear. I mean, I don’t want a box, I just want it to add “Click here to Continue” in a text tag at the end of the excerpt.

Found the answer in another post that this isn’t possible.

Would like to see the “Classic Blog” style become a block in an upcoming release. It is a good way to help transition an existing blog site over to the magazine style format.
