Thanks! That actually was the problem. I completely missed that. Unfortunately I went ahead re-making the home page. I believe I put elements in the header instead of the body of the page, which was causing my problems.

Anyway, thank you so much! That saves me a lot of time.

Well, the slider works fine. It’s only a problem if I change the background color of the theme. So, I assume revolution slider is setup properly. I used one of the theme sliders. I also have the most up-to-date theme.
