Hey Simion – We’re having an issue with very old and outdated posts being shown as related. We were hoping to add some custom coding to td_block_related_posts.php that would help restrict related posts by age… but aren’t having any luck. Was hoping someone could suggest a string of code that might achieve this. Thanks!
Update: We were able to fix this by having our host activate “mbstring” for PHP on our server.
We have not been able to solve it. I still see the broken icons in Safari and Chrome on Mac. And we are seeing it from multiple computers.
Catalin – Than you for the reply. I don’t see anything in the documentation about fixing the broken social icons. Could you shed some insight on that? http://30a.com/wp-content/uploads/icons.png
Just emailed in. Thanks Alin.
Hey Alin,
We are using a slightly older version of the theme (4.6.3) and of WPBakery Visual Composer (4.4.4)… so I’m not sure if that makes a difference here. But I went to Settings > Visual Composer… and went under ‘Administrator’ and told it to ‘select all’ (all of the boxes were unchecked). However, that didn’t seem to fix it. The homepage still shows the incorrect modules (see screenshot). Strangely, this seems to be the only affected page. The other pages show the correct modules within the Visual Composer.

That fixed it! Thanks Alin!
Hey Alin,
As noted, I already tried replacing the instagram ID with another with no luck.
The site is http://30a.com.
Thanks.
Caching has been disabled.
I’m referring to the post title. See attached screenshot. At times, it has truncated the title and put “…”. I would like to extend the length of allowed characters.

Hmmm… I tried adding our Custom CSS that we have in the theme panel to the bottom of style.css, but the code wasn’t rendered. I also tried adding it to the style25-06.css file, but same thing. Any ideas?
I’ll try that. Thanks Chris.
That is a phenomenal response! Thank you so much for the step by step! Greatly appreciated!
Could you also advise on expanding the length of the headline text that is on top of that slider?
Thanks!!
Hey Marius. Thanks for the reply. My apologies for not being clear. I’m talking about the slider that we’re using at the top of this site – http://www.southwalton.com/
Thanks for the prompt reply. Hmmm… I am using an adsense code as output by our google doubleclick account. Here is the code I’m using in the “Header Ad” space in the theme panel..
<!-- /xxxxxxx/SouthWalton.com-468x60 -->
<script type='text/javascript'>
googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-xxxxxxxxxxxx-0'); });
</script>
Is their something different I should be using?
