It’s been 7 days and 18 posts and we still haven’t progressed.

The theme is turning the Facebook video embeds/player in Italian as well as muted by default.

I have a staging copy of my website and I tested it with other themes. It’s only coming from the Newspaper theme.

It’s not youtube. It’s Facebook embeds.

What about the embeds converting the video into Italian and setting it to mute by default?

I checked the source of page and it’s showing me this:

The site’s default is English. It’s something specific with the theme turning it into Italian. I’ve never had this issue with any of the 15+ themes I’ve used – until switching to this one.

I also checked with my staff. All of whom confirmed they are using the English link.
