the theme is the latest version, the configuration is the same as your picture. I use a child theme, with no font property inside the css, but the problem is present as well. You can check it in any page of the site where the font is Open Sans

I asked in qTranslate-X support forum and they redirect me to the latest development version of the plugin.
It seems to solve the title problem, but not the excerpt one.

1 – It worked perfectly, I will put this on a child theme to be update proof

2 – This didn’t work. When I click on a child category, the excerpt shows both the translations at the same time including the [:**] in both italian and english site versions, and the english version always shows the Italian titles
