Hi @Bettina,
No, it is irrelevant. It has nothing to do with AdSense.
The code is a simple image ad:
< a href=”http://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609″ rel=”noopener” class=”td_spot_img_all”>< img src=”https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/newspaper-rec300d.jpg” alt=”spot_img” width=”300″ height=”250″ />
Doesn’t seem like you’ve looked at the screenshots and tried to replicate the issue.
Anyone?
Hi,
Now “DISABLE ON PHONE” is not working.
It seems to be happening on Custom Ad 1
When this option is enabled:
1. The ad is not hidden on mobile.
2. tdb-logo-img-wrap appears to be activated in the logo area (our logo is simple text).
Hi Bettina,
12.5.1 was only a demo.
12.5 had a tone of updates.
12.5 version was released way after this thread was created.
Either way, it is up to you to fix it in your theme or not.
Hi Calin,
12.5 has a few new features, as well as fixes. Was hoping this would be resolved too.
Thanks.
Hi,
This issue is still not fixed in version: 12.5.1.
Hi,
What you are saying “the text will not be displayed there, only an image or a custom code” – doesn’t seem to be correct.
This Custom Ad box is just a div where an html code or any text or any code can be placed. Such as This, when “Disable for Admins/Editors” is not enabled.
The way the ad is setup:
1. TD Composer
2. Theme panel.
3. That’s it.
Result: Ad is not displayed for logged out users.
Unfortunately, from the start, it doesn’t seem that you want to investigate this issue properly at your end.
Won’t be providing the login details, as no more time to waste trying to help you to fix yet another issue.
For the record – in the previous threads I’ve recently posted – I’ve indicated quite a few bugs and issues in the theme, that your colleagues advised they have added to the list to investigate/fix.
Hi @Anamaria,
To answer your question: For testing purposes, there is no ad code or anything. There is just a plain text “AD GOES HERE”, which would be causing any problems.
– This is how the Theme Panel looks Screenshot >> and this is what you and any other logged out users see Sreenshot.
It does look like there is a problem with the theme.
Hi Anamaria,
It’s a dev website with no caching plugins installed.
The issue is not happening on Ad Box blocks. But this is not a solution.
– Were you able to replicate the issue on your install?
Hi @Bettina,
Thank you for your response.
The question is about Google Analytics for AMP via Mobile Theme.
I believe your answer is related to desktop.
– Is the code (below), shown by TagDiv as an example in Mobile Theme >> AMP Analytics still current?
“{
“vars”:{
“account”:”UA-123456789-1”
},
“triggers”:{
“trackPageview”:{
“on”:”visible”,
“request”:”pageview”
}
}
}”
Hi Bettina,
Thank you for the prompt response.
It appears to be an issue with the Theme’s MENU LOGIN block.
Do you know how to fix it?
Facing exactly the same issue.
This seems to be happening when “Double opt-in email” is enabled in Leads block (placed in footer, for example) – e.g. user must receive an email and confirm subscription.
Have you found a solution?
Hi Calin,
Thank you for your response, but I think you misunderstood the issue.
– The website is configured that only registered and logged in users can leave a comment.
On single post AMP, in order to leave a comment, the user is required to login via the “Log in to leave a comment” button or via “Log in to leave a comment” in the comments list (as per screenshot in the prev message).
So, these Button and Link are not working, so the user can not login.
Thank you.
There should be a way to achieve this since it’s just a text (h3 with class tdm-pmh-title)?
Can this be added to the list of improvements?
Hi,
You are saying information that is already known, obvious and irrelevant to the reported issue.
Hi Bettina,
Please read the thread, because what you have said: “This is a default mobile modal, so it can not be customized with the TagDiv Composer” doesn’t seem to be relevant.
Hi Bettina,
No it’s not. It is just a narrow screen view of this demo.
Hi Calin,
Thank you for your response.
I do not think it is possible.
The ‘normal’ header is not an option since you cannot place a search form in it (or anything else).
The ‘above the content’ header does not work, because X is inside div ‘tdm-pm-header’. This div has z-index: 10, obviously to make the X work properly.
– As a result, whenever X visually seems to be on the same line as any other element (menu item, search form, logo with link etc), this element is not working, as it appears ‘below’ X element, so it is blocked.
You can see it here, and any other demo that has this type of menu.
– An option could probably be to set z-index 10 to any of those elements that are covered by X element?
The best would probably be, if you can please add on the list an option to have a ‘normal’ header, with logo and search form.
Thank you.
Hi Calin,
Thank you, I missed those settings.
– Is it possible to place a Logo, Search form and Closing element X in the same line, like this?
Hi Calin,
I believe it is a serious venerability.
In today’s day and age, when literally everything gets hacked – On a big website with a lot of traffic, there will definitely be someone, who would try to break it/hack it.
1. Re: It is unlikely that a user will continuously change his image and upload only big pictures.
So, “unlikely” is not really a long term commercial solution. It should be certain that it is impossible to do what is described.
2. Re: That area only a user who is logged in can access the upload element
As we discussed with you here, anyone with “fake/not verified email” can do it.
Thank you.
