Hi,

Can you please check:

In Theme Panel >> Ads >> Sidebar ad (or any other) >> when “Disable for Admins/Editors” is turned on – ad is disabled for all users, including front end visitors.

Hello,

Please check if you don’t have an object cache file https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
Also, please provide the link to your website.
Also, please try to use the ad box element to add the ads.

Thank you!

Hi Anamaria,

It’s a dev website with no caching plugins installed.

The issue is not happening on Ad Box blocks. But this is not a solution.

– Were you able to replicate the issue on your install?

Hello,

I did tests, but for me, this issue doesn’t appear. Please try to use an ad box, and in the ad box you can select the ad spot, and set the ad box option to hide ithttps://i.imgur.com/dZFiMeD.png

Thank you!

Hi @Anamaria,

Like I said, Ad Box is not a solution. Ad needs to be controlled in the backend (as advertised by theme), otherwise we’ll have to go through every page when need to change the actual ad image/code.

On this link, can you see “Custom ad 1” written underneath the header?

Hello,

Please let me know what type of ads you use, images, custom code for static ads or auto ads.

Thank you!

@Anamaria,

You did not answer the question.

On this link, can you see “Custom ad 1” written underneath the header?

Hello,

Yes, I see it.

Hi @Anamaria,

To answer your question: For testing purposes, there is no ad code or anything. There is just a plain text “AD GOES HERE”, which would be causing any problems.

– This is how the Theme Panel looks Screenshot >> and this is what you and any other logged out users see Sreenshot.

It does look like there is a problem with the theme.

Hi,

Please provide the wp-admin access to check it. I think that you have there an ad box set with the ad; the text will not be displayed there, only an image or a custom code.

Thank you!

Hi,

What you are saying “the text will not be displayed there, only an image or a custom code” – doesn’t seem to be correct.

This Custom Ad box is just a div where an html code or any text or any code can be placed. Such as This, when “Disable for Admins/Editors” is not enabled.

The way the ad is setup:
1. TD Composer
2. Theme panel.
3. That’s it.
Result: Ad is not displayed for logged out users.

Unfortunately, from the start, it doesn’t seem that you want to investigate this issue properly at your end.

Won’t be providing the login details, as no more time to waste trying to help you to fix yet another issue.

For the record – in the previous threads I’ve recently posted – I’ve indicated quite a few bugs and issues in the theme, that your colleagues advised they have added to the list to investigate/fix.

Hi Alex,
Indeed, there is a problem with the theme panel option, when this is used is always apply. Anamaria informed a developer and looks that this problem has fixed today and should be added in the coming update.
Thank you for your time to let us know about this problem.

Hi,

Now “DISABLE ON PHONE” is not working.

It seems to be happening on Custom Ad 1

When this option is enabled:

1. The ad is not hidden on mobile.
2. tdb-logo-img-wrap appears to be activated in the logo area (our logo is simple text).

Hello @Alex!

It should work well. Please choose the custom ad 1: https://prnt.sc/o_fRHKk3BOi2 save and view the results.

Thank you!
