Hello,

This is something related to cache.
TagDiv recommends using WP Super cache with these settings https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Hope this will help.

Hello @nagarig

You can no-index cloud templates from the Yoast SEO setting.
Refer: https://prnt.sc/se5ukc

Don’t forget to hit save button 🙂

Hope you will find this helpful.

Hello @kibiribi

1. Goto theme panel >> Analytics/JS Codes >> Paste <script src="https://scripts.sirv.com/sirv.js"></script> in Header script code section. This will add script for all pages and posts on the site.

Refer: https://prnt.sc/se5nxq

2. To add it on selected pages you can consider adding it by custom functions to theme’s functions.php file or plugin like SOGO Add Script to Individual Pages Header Footer

Hope you will find this helpful.

Hello @somon

Consider changing the width to 60% or 65% in td-composer/mobile/style-amp.css

Published date/time not appearing on SERP in both cases.
1. Articles schema enabled
2. Articles schema disabled

Any quick solution?

Earlier in Newspaper 10.2 date/time was not appearing when articles schema is disabled. And it appeared when article schema is enabled.

@Calin

I have noticed, when we use a disable schema option, it does not display post date/time in SERP snippet.

Hi,

As shown in the screenshot, you are using the latest version of the Newspaper theme.

Amit

Hi @emilienbournigal

A newspaper theme comes with an option to disable Google fonts. You can easily disable them from theme panel. Refer: https://prnt.sc/q8lo45

About the theme icons, I have not found any solution so far.
You can reduce the loading time of those scripts by adding the following code in head section.
<link rel="preload" href="//www.typemeon.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/icons/newspaper.woff" as="font">
<link rel="preload" href="//www.typemeon.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/assets/images/icons/newspaper-icons.woff" as="font">

Hi,

1) There are a few gif images that need to be optimized.
2) Images work better with Cloudflare + Lazy Load by WP Rocket

For page: https://www.pinkluggageabroad.com/riad/
Featured image on this page is of 1.95MB that’s big and is not being served by Jetpack CDN.

After optimizing all images, you must purge all cache (Server level cache, WP Super cache.)

I hope you will find this helpful.

@jamiesharpe

1. As you find optimizing images manually tricky/time consuming, I would suggest using an image optimization plugin to optimize all images on your blog.

2. After you optimize all images, you can setup Cloudflare CDN or re-enable Jetpack Photon. Cloudflare/Jetpack photon will surely help your blog to serve images faster.

3. Make sure WP Super cache plugin settings are correct.
4. You don’t need Shareaholic as the theme comes with inbuilt share buttons.
5. Use plugins like Autoptimize or Fast Velocity Minify to optimize scripts on your blog.

I hope you will find this helpful.

Hello,

Here is the list of some images that need to be optimized:
travel-background.png
travel-wanderlust.png
subscribe-bio-travel.jpg
list-of-quirky-bars-1.jpg
croatia.gif
maldives-ocean.gif
iceland2.gif
lagos-rocks.gif
check-point-charlie-berlin-jamie.jpg
Blonde-on-Blue-Train.jpeg

you can use Lazy Load by WP Rocket to improve the loading time of the page.

Also, some plugins are not required as those features already come with a Newspaper theme.
Here is a dedicated guide for Newspaper theme optimization. https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/

Yea, you did correctly.
Optimizing one image will not improve site speed. You must optimize all images, including your site logo.

There are still many unoptimized images that need to be optimized and replaced.

To hide About us title add remove previous code and add this

.td-footer-description .block-title {
display: none;
}

To hide category title you can use –

.td-category-header .td-page-title {
display: none;
}

Amit

Hello,
To remove About us add this to custom CSS to Theme panel >> Mobile theme >> Custom Code
aside.td-footer-description {
display: none;
}

I tried visiting the category page, but it’s redirecting me to the homepage.

For thumbnails on mobile, you should enable thumbs for mobile theme.
Theme panel >> Block settings >> Thumbs on modules/blocks
enable thumb size = 265 X 198 and 741 X 486
Refer: https://prnt.sc/pzz5tt

I hope you will find this helpful.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hello,

You must optimize all images on your website manually and reupload them.
For progressive images, you can follow this guide: https://www.infophilic.com/make-progressive-images-increase-site-speed/

You can also reduce the work by using image optimization plugin, but as I can see, most of the images you have on your site are larger than 1MB. In this case, no free plugin will help. You will need to purchase a premium plugin. So better use photoshop.

I hope you will find this helpful.
Thank you!
