Hi tagDiv Team,
Thank you for the update.
I wanted to share that this forum was much more than just a community support platform. For many users, from beginners to experts, it acted as immediate first aid for almost every issue or feature understanding related to the Newspaper theme. It truly served as a comprehensive encyclopedia over the years.
I am incredibly grateful for the platform you built and the constant support you provided here. Thank you for all the effort put into maintaining it, and I look forward to continuing to work with your team via email.
Will miss you @ncalex & @bogdan-b 🙁
Regards,
Amit
Hi Calin,
No problem about the late response. Thank you for the additional information. I will make sure to disable the https://i.imgur.com/qqGAO1P.png option to prevent the unnecessary ajax request.
Best regards
The option is already disabled. But no luck!
Yes, you can use WP Rocket plugin
Hi,
Fonts in the latest Newspaper theme are already optimized. So, I will suggest ignoring the method you have mentioned.
You can disable theme fonts from the theme panel.

Have you tried disabling Varnish at the server end?
Hi there,
I wanted to let you know that I’ve tested the Latest Newspaper theme on WordPress 6.3-RC4 and I haven’t encountered any errors yet.
Hi,
It seems that the task was successful, but there appears to be a bug. It appears that editors are unable to view images when accessing the Media Library.
Hi Calin,
Thanks for the quick solution.
With the code you provided, I was able to remove the Cloud Templates option from the dashboard menu. Still, the editor can see the Edit with tagDiv Composer (green) button, which appears on the front end.
Hey @lopabella
I’m happy to hear that my guide was helpful to you.
To fix LCP:
1. Disable Jetpack CDN
2. Try to improve server response time
Please inform me if you find this to be of assistance.
Thank you!
How?
Any guide? Or option?
Hey Viju,
If you’re using WP Rocket there is no need to add Expire Headers rules on .htaccess file as WP Rocket do it for you.
Hello @anamaria
That’s great. Do you have any timeline for the upcoming update?

Hi Calin,
I have sent you an email.
It looks like tagDiv plugins are not active. Enable tagDiv plugins to fix your homepage.
I hope you will find this helpful.
Hey @kitojardimelba
I understand your concern. Let me tell you this –
I have 100+ sites with Newspaper themes, and all sites are justifying Core web vitals with 95+ scores. So, I don’t care if the demo site has good scores because every theme user has a different host, server setup, and requirements that influence the site’s overall performance.
tagDiv team can get good scores for their demos, but what is the use of it? They are showcase sites only.
Regarding Newspaper theme optimization:
I am not limiting any feature of the theme to get that score and core web vitals satisfied. Limiting features gives us better scores, but I have bought this theme because I like its features so, limiting features is worthless for me.
LCP
Number of images on your page doesn’t affect the LCP of the site. You can use any number of images on the site and have a good score with LCP.
I believe the content in the viewport manipulates LCP. So, there is no logic to blame number of images on the page.
I hope this will clear your concept for LCP.
Feel free to ask if you have any doubts.
Cheers!
Hey,
Here is a quick fix for this:
Add following code to Theme Panel >> Mobile Theme >> Custom Code
.wp-block-image .aligncenter>figcaption {
display: block;
}
I hope you will find this helpful.
Hi,
If you want to use Mobile cloud templates for your website, make sure you either select AMP in the mobile theme option from Theme Panel or Disable Mobile theme plugin.
