Hello, thank you for your reply! Regarding the screenshot you provided — we are already using the approach shown, but we don’t see a direct GPSE redirect option there. Could you clarify what exactly you meant by “redirecting to GPSE directly” in that screenshot?

Also, the element we use on mobile is the Mobile Live Search element (not the Header Live Search), and it doesn’t include the same options you referenced (img1). Is there an equivalent option available for the Mobile Live Search element as well? Thank you!

Hello, thank you for the reply! It really did apply the rule to the iframe and the article that is auto-loaded. The issue now, though, is that the result is not the same within the iframe.

This was added (the attribute in the td-outer-wrap) so that the ads within the article are sticky (you can check for example here https://greekreporter.com/2025/02/06/eruption-thera-destruction-minoans-santorini/ how are the ads displayed on the first article – the sticky behavior – and the difference on the following ones).

My question is: could that be connected to the way the theme loads each next article – i.e. using iframes? If so, could you suggest an alternative way of how can this be achieved? Or if not, could you point out what the problem could be?

I am available should you need any more info. Thank you!

Kind regards,

Hello, the CSS rule #td-outer-wrap has a declaration of an overflow:hidden , which we do not want because it interferes with our design. We overwrite it and for the first article we have the result we want. But when the auto-loaded articles load, this is not applied in the iframe. So we would like to know how and from where should we overwrite it in those articles too. Thank you!

OK, thank you for the answer!

I understand that this issue is not covered in general, but regarding the media attribute when loading the file?
Could we change it to screen? If yes and there are no complications (I can’t think of any), from where? Thank you!

Kind regards,

Hello, would it be possible to provide the info regarding the fix here, so that we could apply it?

Hello,

Could the plugin work if this is not a link element?

Or if not, is there a way I could add an href with a value through the interface (and not like I did it with JS after the loading of the page)?

Thank you!

Hello, it is the video playlist element from the tagdiv composer. Thanks!

Dear Alin,

Thank you fo your response and help.

1. I read and implemented everything included in the suggested threads but no good results for me. After I add the slide in the stretched row and did all the cuztomizations suggested (margins etc) the slide doesn’t show on the page, just a blank white space. See here: http://you.greekreporter.com/files/2015/07/Screen-Shot-2015-07-20-at-11.40.02-PM.png

2.Thank you!

3.Thank you!

4. Thank you for the code. It works, but it also turns our slider’s title black. Is there a specific way to overwrite this just for the slider or a specific block so the title there stays white, lets say grid 2?

I appreciate your help.

Christopher, I can’t thank you enough. The pro version works great! You solved one of our sites biggest issues and we ll be using newspaper soon on our homepage too! THANK YOU SO MUCH and if you are local to Cali I will be more than happy to buy you a beer!!!

Thank you Marius and Christopher. Christopher, I admire your kindness to always help here, voluntarily.

I tried both plugins but for some reason they don’t work with newspaper. They work with twenty fourteen (the wp standard), which makes me think that your theme might be handling the images in a distinctively different way than others.

I should note that I used the free version of the auto post thumbnail plugin, but it says that it does the same as the paid version.

Is there any other way to achieve having images from our wp subddomains on the homepage that you might think?

Thank you so much for your help in advance!

Hello Radu and thank you for the reply. I am still using your theme in allof our subdomains. This is where our content lives. Ex: Greece.greekreporter.com. We are using WP Super Cache. We would love to use your theme on our homepage too but it doesn’t pull in the images from our subdomains. We use WP MS. Our host is Media Temple and we have a pretty powerful VPS with them.

If you stumble upon a specific error or find a solution please let us know. Thank you in advance!

I just start getting the same problem at http://greekreporter.com Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your answer Radu, but when I do this I also hide the title of the category and the subcategories. Is there a way to disable only the slider but still have the category title and subcategories?
