There wasn’t this issue before but ever since I updated the new version, my amp logos are blurred. I’ve chosen the full size image but still getting the same problem. Any fix for this?
Then why is there two separate options to put mobile ad code and desktop ad codes in Theme panel?
And it’s very irresponsible to say you don’t cover page speed for support when the mobile theme is having an issue out of the box.
“Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team”
Are you kidding me? You advertise the theme in BIG, BOLD SHINY FONTS as “Core Web Vitals Ready for BLAZING FAST WEBSITES” and yet your policy is to “not support” page speed?
We aren’t asking for support because it’s unrelated to service/product you provide. We’re asking because it’s simply NOT WORKING AS YOU ADVERTISED.
Clearly many people are having this issue (including me) and you’re simply ignoring the fact that there IS a problem with mobile version of the theme.
You’re claiming to provide “fast page speed” and “Core Web Vitals ready” the result is the exact opposite. That’s a false advertisement!
I’m getting same error on Google Search Console after updating theme to Newspaper 11: https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4VSisQ0T_Zc/YNTlrXeAuLI/AAAAAAAAGU0/C1jF4oAHTn8fD6Zg9KTrEjrXJmhWyaH5ACNcBGAsYHQ/s16000/Screen%2BShot%2B2021-06-25%2Bat%2B1.49.59%2BAM.png
It is theme related issue. Please fix it soon!
More on this useless vulnerable theme: https://blog.sucuri.net/2017/06/unwanted-shorte-st-ads-in-unpatched-newspaper-theme.html
I know I did not put ANYTHING in my header ad section and I go and check there.. boom… Malware javascript!
Updated theme to 8.1 SAME THING HAPPENED FEW DAYS LATER. THIS THEM GAVE ME A NIGHTMARE. Now my amazon affiliate account is banned permanently. DO NOT USE THIS THEME. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE theme.
Unique post customization with different elements has been major sell point for ThriveTheme. If you guys can build something similar with better features, then it would be great.
@Bogdan B.
Thank you for your reply. I appreciate it.
You’re not seeing any difference because you’re using desktop to view the site “as a mobile” device. This is not the case when you view the image in actual mobile phone itself. If you use desktop tool, it’s the same as resizing your bowser window smaller, and you don’t see any effect on images at all. Try viewing the page in actual mobile phone, and hopefully you’ll notice the difference.
Also, I’ve tried everything from disabling every plugin, and clearing the cache (browser’s, site’s and CDN). I do not use any image compression plugin. Regenerated thumbnails twice.
Thank you!

It seems you didn’t notice since the picture was darker. Try looking at this one (#4 image of drone): https://goo.gl/pV6D4I
In desktop it looks normal. But in mobile, if you look at the image closely (the part of the rotor of the drone), it looks blurry: https://www.screencast.com/t/LAYBf2PEzG8
You have to compare the desktop and mobile image side by side by keeping the mobile phone and desktop together in order to see the difference. The image quality is definitely reduced in mobile.
Here is the comparison of mobile and PC (look at the pixels of images — both are screenshots of the image in both device with same zoom level — the mobile version looks blurry): https://www.screencast.com/t/NiCentdWHYh
Thanks!

Thank you for the response.
I’m referring to the post content images. Take a look at this, for example: https://goo.gl/AhYWwG
In the point #4, the image is 400px wide (which is the maximum size that I prefer to use, I don’t need images that are more than 400px, because of page load speed time). The image is perfect in the desktop, but try the same URL and see that image on mobile, it gets very low quality in the mobile, which is the case for every image of that post.

In Newspaper 6, even the post content image size of 400px used to display good quality image on my LG G3, and now it doesn’t. The image quality drops way lower in mobile.
Thanks!
Hey Mesotu,
How did you reinstall your backup 7.3 after your site broke? Did you delete the uploaded theme from cPanel and WordPress automatically chose another theme? or did you do the other way. This sounds helpful if it may occur with me in future.
Thanks!
@nairolf2013 Are you using the latest WordPress 4.6, or the version before that?
I was worried about something exactly like this. Thanks for the info. Will not update until the next update comes out.
I have to issue #2 as well. Cleared everything and still the same problem. Please help!
I same the same issue and it’s frustrating. I disabled the mobile theme completely until the fix arrives.
No, I do not have that in the .htaccess file. Please help!
For the same reason, I’ve been using the custom HTMl code for product boxes, which is pretty inconvenience to edit for each of the product.
It worked! Thanks!
…OR instead of creating a whole new DIV class CSS, you can just change it to <div class="td-post-date"> since there is the built-in CSS in the theme for .td-post-date class that aligns everything in place.
I added the code in .htaccess files cleared all caches, and purge from cache, but the issue is still the same. Please help!
That’s why I’m not using this ‘Smart list’. I hope to see some major improvements on smart lists in next update.
Thanks! Here’s another suggestion: Those ‘Our Pick’ section on the post looks really awesome: http://thesweethome.com/reviews/great-wedding-registry-gift-ideas/
It would be really nice if we can get that kind of product placement format for review blog! 🙂
