I am having an issue after the update that the mobile menu and the web menu are duplicating on the page:

http://gatdaily.com/

You can see here that it is printing 2 top menus one for each style.

yes, I had this problem but solved.
You should install tagDiv Mobile Theme. Newspaper menu > plugins > and install tagDiv Mobile Theme!

Hi,
This issue is caused by caching. You updated recently but the old style.css is still cached and served instead of the new file. Please clear all caches from the cache plugin, browser, a cdn server or hosting cache you might have.
As for the mobile theme, please read this topic to learn more about it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!

I have cleared my browser cache and I have cleared the
W3 Total Cache from the website. I do not use a CDN or or hosting cache.

I have cleared these all again and enabled the mobile theme and still have this issue.

Like I mentioned in another post I’m having the exact same issue as shooter here.

The menu at the top of the site is how it looks on my blog too. Like I said, I disabled W3 Total cache and the problem seemed to be solved, but then it reappeared.

Devs, can you kindly look into this urgently as I see more and more threads being created for the same issue.

Lol it’s not the caching. We tested with the previous build and works fine 😉

Something broke in this current build

Vikram, do I use cloud flare? If so you do not need and caching on WordPress. Cloud flare does IT ALL. Along with compression also.

This is a critical issue and should be fixed asap. Everyone is on mobile now and visiting our sites makes things look horrible.

Hello,
Well this is not a bug as we do not get this error at all on our end or on our live demo. The issue most people had with this was based on the old version of style.css (from newspaper 6) being served through cache and breaking the layout.
If this is not the case then please disable all plugins except visual composer and clear all caches in order to rule out a plugin conflict. Then activate plugins one by one and see which one breaks the layout.
If you still have trouble with this, please send us an email at contact@tagduiv.com and provide wp-admin sop we can login and inspect the issue directly.
Thank you!

Blogwire – I do use CloudFlare in conjunction with the Cache plugin.

But It may not be a cache issue as even after disabling and using the recommended WP Super Cache the issue is coming up.

Well, we did a fresh install with NO plugins except VC on a spare domain as a test. We installed one of the demos and problem still exists.
Something was broken during this last build update.

On CloudFlare, I purged the cache, the issue remains. 🙁

Update: After purging CloudFlare cache, on the browser I am using, Chrome for Mac, I reloaded my main page by forcing it to reload everything (SHIFT + tapping on the reload button), it is working fine now.

whats your url ? want to check…

Revert back to the previous build until its fixed.

Post count: 44

Lol why would users use an old version of style.css from v6?
The updates are all zipped with updated code.

Hello,
There is nothing to ‘fix’. Newspaper 7 works. If there was a problem with it, you could see it here as well: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
The problem is not the theme but your install. There is something affecting the css. Please try to create a sub-domain and install a fresh version of wp and a fresh version of the theme (version 7) there. If you still get the error there as well, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will look into it to figuire out the cause of the problem.
Thank you!

I find now the menu works only at the home page. when visiting a article then clicking the menu it screws up…

I understand but why are other experiencing the same?…

This is most likely because most likely you use the same optimization tools or the same plugins. People tend to use the same plugins/tools very often. It’s simple for a very popular plugin or optimization tool or a popular setting somewhere to cause this effect for most people. We had the wordfence issue a while back and there were lots and lots of topics with people using wordfence and having issues with it. There was a setting in wordfence causing the theme panel to not save it’s settings at all. You can see it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-settings/
If you search for this link on our forums you will see how many times we referenced it. People use popular plugins very often and sometimes these can get in the way.

Thank you!

Hi,
I tested the demo on multiple browsers but could not find any errors. What browser is that you tested it on?
Thanks.
