Using a plugin works too (as long as it is bundled and/or certified to work with the theme). Either way, looking forward using Newspaper and Newsmag with Google AMP.

Thanks

I’d also love to see support for Google AMP (once stable) within the theme itself. Looks like it’s rolling out into search in about a month.

Thanks!

Hey Andrei,

I did as you suggested and it didn’t seem to work. I deactivated all plugins and regenerated the thumbnails, cleared all caches and tested.

The thumbnails exist, I tested it by taking one of the images that isn’t fitting properly, put their location in the url and added the correct size (the size they are supposed to be) at the end of the url and it showed up. For some reason the theme isn’t pulling that specific image though.

Thanks for your help.

Ok, thanks. Perhaps in the future we can have a “post builder” in the same way we have a “page builder” today.

I was hoping there was a way to put a common element at the bottom of every post (either above or below the sharing elements), in the same way you can add blocks on a page (via VC), but it doesn’t sound like that’s possible without modifying the code.

Thanks!

Thank you!

To explain further, I’d simply like to have a button or text link at the bottom of the page (centered) that says nothing but “See Next Article” and it pulls the next older article. I don’t want Next/Previous or showing article titles and images. Simply “See Next Article”.

How is it possible to do that?

Thanks so much!

Thanks Chris!

Thanks Chris. Another dumb question – this assumes you’ve created a new page called “Homepage” and then set the settings on that page to feature just that category. Per these instructions:

https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-newsmag/

Is that right? Thanks again!

Thanks. Dumb question …. how do I implement that within the post? So for example, at the bottom of every post I simply want a link (or button) that says “See Next Post >>” that automatically goes to the previous post.

Thanks again!

I understand, but also publishers don’t want author information posted on Facebook via Share so there should be some way to avoid that ideally.

Thanks. Is there any way to avoid having to manipulate the code? I assumed when I turned off showing the author in the theme, it would also not show it in the code. The problem is that Facebook sharing picks up the “hidden” author information now, which is not good.

Thanks, but how do you also remove the meta information for the author in the head? (meta name=”author”)
