I figured out that I have used style 3 for the footer which is not customizable, I used another style and i am able to edit and add contents as per my need. thank you

Thank you for your replay, I had read the article before but under the foote widgets are empty and in theme control–> footer, I can only change some text and not able to edit what is filter or shown like posts or popular categories, I think it is the predefined footer content loaded, so how can i edit it?
