Hi,

My hosting solved the problem. Some files css and js were trying to get on routes that did not really exist, due to an error in the .htaccess file the originals were being altered and this caused 404 errors. That’s why now it looks better.

In the other side, I installed tagDiv Cloud Library and now I see the header manager, but what about if I want to hide the footer? There are some pages that I don’t want to use header and footer because I don’t want leak points.

I tryed everything and it didn’t work. I noticed it only happens in the homepage, I don’t know why. In the other pages everything looks well.

Moreover, since the update I don’t see the “Header manager” orange button in TagDiv Composer and I can’t hide the footer. So if I want to make an empty page I just can’t do it, because you also removed the empty page template.

It’s true I updated the theme overwritting, but I deleted the theme, TagDiv plugins and uploaded the latest version downloaded from themeforest, and the problem still persists.

I’ve been so many years updating the theme overwritting (I didn’t know it’s not a good practice), and now I just noticed in FTP that I have a lot of folders and files, many of them empty and I think now the hosting is “dirty”.

I just don’t know what to do to solve the problems.

Thank you for solving me the problem. Just two things:

1. When I choose no header, there is always a white space at the top, and I have to add a -50px margin at the top row to hide it. I just let you know that to see if you can solve it in future updates.

2. How can I hide the footer like the header? I don’t see that option.

Personally, the Empty Page option in the page attribute was great, and I don’t know why you decided to delete that option.

I don’t know how to do that. I tryed modifing the file “page-pagebuilder-empty.php” replacing the code you sent me, but it’s not working properly.

Moreover, I’m still not seeing the orange button “Header manager”.

The empty page template is still appearing. Moreover, when using TagDiv Composer I don’t see the Header manager.

The theme is updated to 9.5 and I deleted the composer plugin and reinstalled again. Maybe the update was not well done?

I discovered why is the problem occuring. It only happens when the page attribute is set to “Pagebuilder + Emptypage”

If you set that attribute then you can’t edit with TagDiv Composer. That’s probably a bug or something.

You can check it trying to edit this two pages with TagDiv Composer:

If you change the page attribute you will see the problem disappears. I provided you access to the admin panel to check it.

Moreover, in any page I made with TagDiv Composer in the past there always appear an advice saying “The current content has not beeing created with TagDiv Composer”. That’s not true, because the pages were made with TagDiv Composer.

UPDATE:
If found that the problem with Classic editor plugin is because of a conflict with SEO Yoast plugin. If both plugins are activated, then you can’t use Classic editor because all the text from posts or pages dissapear and the box for writting is not responsive. You can not write there anymore.

I tryed changing the theme and the problem persists. So it’s not a problem of Newspaper theme. It’s just a conflict between Classic editor and SEO Yoast plugins.

Theme is updated to the latest version. I deactivated all the plugins and I cleared the cache, and the problem persists.

I have observed the following:
– Witouth using TagDiv Composer, if I add a new block “Classic”, links there are not going to open in a new window.
– Witouth using TagDiv Composer, if I add a new block “Paragraph”, links there are going to open in a new window.
– Using TagDiv Composer, if I add a new block “Column text”, links there are going to open in a new window.
– Using TagDiv Composer, if I add a button, links there are not going to open in a new window.

So, right now the problem is only occuring while using Classic block witouth using TagDiv Composer and adding buttons with TagDiv Composer. In both cases links are not going to open in a new window even they are set to do that.

I regret the day I decided to update wordpress, because the new version is very bad. If I install the plugin “Classic editor”, then I can’t see the text in posts or pages and I can’t do anything. It’s just a kind of bug or incompatibility with the theme.

I just don’t know how to solve this but it’s very annoying.

I just checked, and I observed that it is imposible to set it to open in a new window.

The problem it’s not only occuring while using TagDiv Composer or buttons. It’s ocurring aswell while using clasic wordpress editor.

There you will see some links in color green that are not opening in a new window even they are configured to do that.

So, it seems that the problem is occuring in the whole website. Links are not opening in a new window even I’m using or not TagDiv Composer.

I added the line breaks trought html code and now is working fine. Maybe the problem was that the first time I added that text doing copy paste with word and I don’t know why that was causing the conflict.

The problem is solved with these changes. In the screenshot 1, I was having to delete a part of the code right? To look like the one you marked with the arrow. In the screenshot 2, where you put “comment our this section”, I did not do anything, I did right?

One more thing. Everytime I update the theme, I will have to modify the files again or replace the new ones with the ones I modified? Or witouth touching anything everything will be okey?

It would be nice if you can correct this for the next update.

Yes, is set with tagdiv composer in CSS tab.

The top margin of the row is: -160px (this way, the background image of the row is also behind the menu)

The top margin of the lead magnet is: 200px

The top margin of the image of myself is: 112px

So, there is any solution? There should be a way that Edge and Firefox apply properly the css like chrome do.

Even the lazy load images is desactivated, the main image of the posts is not appearing in the top of the articles, and the share buttons are not visible aswell. They exist because if you click where the buttons should be it works and you can share the post, but you can’t see the buttons.

The only thing that solved desactivating the lazy load images option is that the thumbnais of the posts appeared again.

If I desactivate the lazy load images option from the theme most of the images appears, so I think the problem is beeing with this option.

Anyways, I would like to keep having this option active.

After investigating, I solved most of the problems.

1. The problem number one was the plugin Speed Booster, doing strange effects on mobile version.

2. The second problem was the custom css. By default, the theme loads the css at the end, and that was the problem of the strange effects at loading. What I did is install a Custom CSS plugin that allows me to load the css at the beggining, and then the problem disappears.

3. The third problem, and I have not solved it yet, is visual composer. When you choose full width for a row, the row loads less width and after a second it turns to full width, producing an ugly effect. Why? This is probably a theme bug, because I checked other websites made with Newspaper and EVERYBODY has the same problem using full width rows with visual composer.

So my questions are:

1. Can you propose a new setting for the next update that allows you to chose if you want to load the css at the beggining or at the end?

2. By now, and to avoid installing a plugin for custom css, there is any code that I can use to load the css at the beggining?

3. Is there any way to solve the problem with visual composer and full width rows?

I want to say that most of the problems are theme bugs. Speed Booster is a plugin made by TagDiv, and it produces errors. The theme loads custom css at the end by default and you can’t change it. Finally, there is a problem with visual composer and the theme, loading late full width rows made with VC.

I would appreciate that this time you can help me finding solutions to my problems, at least at the visual composer bug.

If you check now, the text now is activated, and you can see the word “Share”, the problem is that I can not change it in the translations menu, and before the update there was no problem changing the text.

I think maybe is a bug of the update? I attach screenshots.
