Yes just worked out how to get around it, as my post count goes up it won’t be an issue, but seems a bit of as hack with small site and only s few posts.

The other issue I know I can limit the number to 1 slide which I gave already done.

My issue is that if I only have one post in a category say Featured Category, no slide is displayed, if I have 2 post under a category it works as expected

The site is set up with an SSL certificate and I already use SSL/HTTPS for my admin area, what I am looking for is if the login form provide by the theme picks up the fact that I have defined define(‘FORCE_SSL_ADMIN’, true); in my congig.php file!

It works for the standard WordPress login form, that picks up and is submitted via HTTPS.

I don’t want to have my site as HTTPS for all pages just a so the login form is sent via SSL to secure login details.

Sorted. was the AdRotate plugin CSS.

This plugin has updated and functionality has broken.

This will compress the image files but not make them progressive, which is what I was looking for.

So I have decided to do it manually, just upload the original image, then download the created thumbs via sFTP, save for web using Photoshop, with Progressive and Compression at 50.

It only takes a few more minutes when I upload the articles to my website, so not too much of an issue.

Getting excellent results from webpagetest.org.

Ah..now theres a problem I us this for my featured post and therefore only have 4 post.

Will have to look for another solution to showing my featured post other than the big slide:(

Update..

Actually getting the first 2 images/post from the first slide not all 4.

If I add additional slides I can get 3 of the first images/post to show on mobile but not all 4 as I would like.

I have removed the line from functions.php so that I can use the Visual Composer Separator, but it still isn’t showing after removal!

when You add the /. to the permalinks structure it removes the category from the browser window but if you look at the URL the /. is shown as part of the URL.

So still need to remove from the link
as I initial wanted

Hi I have just done this for my site. I have a dark blue main menu in desktop/ipad and a white menu background for my phones.
The problem is that I use white icons for my desktop so when it goes to the phone the menu and search icons, cannot be seen.

What CSS do I need to change these icons to black for mobile phone devices?

I have being laying with this further and have decided that it may be better to modify the menu-header.php to setup the logo as I require.

So I want to have the logo positioned on the left with the menu to the left and the various devices showing correctly using CSS for the logo size and menu font size.

If I add the logo to the php file the image floats out side the menu, how do I get it to be in the menu, so it will work no matter what size i set the logo size to.
