Alright, Disabled all the plugins which were not related to the theme and fixed the issue. I should have known that it’s because of the super cache plugin which does exactly what the name says.

Hello again,
It might be because in themeforest it still shows me version 8.5 for download and not 8.6.
Will give it some more time.

same here, exactly the same issue. I installed the plugin, it shows me the update is available but when trying to proceed with it, nothing happens.
