Hi Lucian,
I have the opposite problem: The category tag links on my site do not work at all.
When I click on them – nothing loads.
Are there settings I need to adjust for this to work?
Thanks!
Great! It’s working now…
Thanks!
Hi Lucian,
Thanks for the quick reply.
Here’s the link:
http://cobras.org/Home/
As you can see – on Chrome the Menu text is white, while on Firefox it’s Black.
So just to be clear – I add the above line to the “YOUR CUSTOM CSS” box in the Theme panel? Do I change it from “red” to “white”?
Thanks!
Hi Lucian – sorry to bother again, but I’m having the same issue with the top header AD. I put in a 728 x 90 image (as mentioned in your demo), but I get the same Gmetrix errror regarding this image (missing width and/or height attributes).
Can you please send me the div tag’s for the header ad image?
Thanks!
I just noticed a similar problem, but with the Menu Fonts:
I set the font family to one in the list, “Wellfleet” (But also tried others!),
to color WHITE, and it works nicely on Chrome, but on Firefox the font is different and in BLACK!
Any idea how to fix?
Thanks,
Bran
OK, I got it…
Many many thanks Christopher!
Cheers!
Thanks Christopher, now I think I get it…
So does this mean that for every Featured Image in every post I need to upload a 745×483 image?
Thanks!
Hi again,
There is something I am probably missing here, so kindly explain it as if for a beginner…
I read your thumbs and image resolutions:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-and-blocks/
I then made some 326×235 images as featured images,
and a 300×100 Logo.
However – when doing the GTmetrix again – I get a very long list of
“The following image(s) are missing width and/or height attributes.”
including images with these sizes 326X235, the 300×100 logo, as well as images of 326X406, 100×65, 745X483 and more.
–> I thought all these are the programmed image sizes of the theme? How come they are missing?
Kindly advise…
Thanks!
Bran
Thanks Lucian for another quick reply!
Will try it and see if it solves it…
Cheers!
Hi again,
I’ve inserted a 300X250 non adsense responsive Ad on the sidebar.
However – when I perform the Gmetrix Performance report, I get this message the some images are missing width and/or height attributes, among them also the 300×250 Ad:
The following image(s) are missing width and/or height attributes.
http://cobras.org/Home/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/icons/ico-video-large.png (Dimensions: 40 x 40)
http://cobras.org/Home/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/icons/similar-right.png (Dimensions: 6 x 9)
http://cobras.org/Home/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Small-Ad-box-2.jpg (Dimensions: 300 x 250) (8 uses)
Why is that? And how to repair? (also these first 2 pngs)
Thanks,
Bran
Many thanks!
Again – Great support!
Cheers,
Bran
Hi Lucian,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I want to control which posts will be featured on the big slider (Homepage with background).
It’s set on ‘sort’ => ‘featured’, but what if I want to show more than one category?
Thanks!
Thanks a lot Christopher and Lucian!
Big help!
Great support!
Hi there,
I’m trying to control the Big Slider which was automatically there when selecting the Homepage with Background. It wasn’t added from the Visual Composer.
I can’t find the way to change the settings of this Big Slider.
Can you please send me the documentation for this?
Thanks,
Bran
Hi there,
I just bought the theme, which is great so far.
I’m having a problem with a normal featured image with these dimenstions: 448X312.
I insert it as featured image in a post, but then on the homepage, the post’s thumbnail image is a bit cut off, missing some of the upper part of the image.
What are the dimensions for Featured images? And how do I make sure it looks good on the Home page?
Thanks,
Bran
