First of all – what do you mean by “if you have enabled the author”??
I haven’t enabled anything that has to do with “author” since installing the theme,
is there something I am missing?

Well, I followed your advise and replaced the line in the loop-single-1.php as well.

But when I wanted to replace it also in the Single_Template-2, Single_Template-3 and so on,
I noticed it’s not the same lines as in the loop-single files.
The lines in the Single_Template files are like this:

<?php echo $td_mod_single->get_category();?>
<?php //echo $td_mod_single->get_author();?>

So should I replace the line: echo $td_mod_single->get_author(); in the exact same way in these files as I did in the loop-single files?

Hi guys,

I just saw on Google Webmaster Tools that my site has almost 100 errors in Structured Data > hentry section. The Error is “Missing: Author”.
I googled the issue and found this article:

In the article they recommend to fix the single.php file by finding the following: <?php the_author(); ?> and changing it to: <span class=”vcard author post-author”><span class=”fn”><?php the_author(); ?></span></span>

I couldn’t find that line in the theme’s single.php file.

What’s the solution to fixing this?

So you mean to tell me that every Theme update changes the whole theme settings???
How come it can’t keep the old settings there? I don’t even remember all the changes I did to the theme, there’s a lot!
Is there any “easy” way to save the settings and then after update restore it?

Would have that changed my case? It doesn’t say anywhere in the theme-udpate instructions to disable any plugins…

I am encountering a similar problem: Theme Admin is not loading.
It started after this: I put a title in one of the “Block 1” which contained this text “Tools & Quizzes”. I then went to edit it and saw that it turned into something like this “Tools 1$3& Quizzes” (or similar – I don’t exactly remember).
I then edited it and changed it to “Tools And Quizzes”, AND that’s when the browser freezes and I now can’t access the Admin at all.

Any bugs known when you put a “&” ?

One problem I still have regarding the Tabbed content:

Is it possible to change the “Header Color” and “Header Text Color”
so it can match the other headers on the page?

Hi there,
I just noticed a different bug in the Menu.

When I choose one of the Menu items (pages) – the Green color indication line underneath which shows where you are appears underneath 3 different Menu items – and not just under the 1 menu item that it should.

I did as you said, and after deactivating all plugins, and turning them on one by one:
1) First of all – when trying to click on Category Tags or category links – I now get this message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ”autoplay” (T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING), expecting ‘)’ in /home/cobras7/public_html/Home/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/parts/page-category-slider.php on line 102

2) When I turned on the tagDiv speed booster plugin – that’s when the problem appears again and category tags don’t work at all and don’t even show the above Parse error message.

Any ideas for a solution?
