I’m having the same issue. Latest version of the theme and VC. Just installed today.

VC will not save elements. I can add an element, duplicate them. But you cannot save an individual element after changes are made to it.

QUESTION: I just upgraded to PHP 5.6.30. Is that a problem?

I’m trying to do something similar. I don’t mind using posts. But I don’t want the entire big grid 3 to use the same categories and filters. I’d like the large article on the left to be either its own category OR be able to manually select posts.

I was excited about the filter by post id option you suggested, but when I edit the filters for Big Grid 3, there is not option given for post ids.

Thanks. I turned it off and just dropped the GA embed code into your theme’s place for it. Works fine!
