I figured it out.

You click on the column with content to edit the settings. Turn “Occupy remaining space in row” to “On,” and set the width at “100%.”

Thanks for your reply. I saw no object cache file and confirmed with my host there was one. What worked to get the default template to import again without saved changes was deleting icloud library and the theme, then reinstalling. Then I deleted the default theme, which was still saving my edits from before, and reimported. I still have some other settings that are saved (the mobile plugin saved my header image even after deactivating and deleting the plugin and then the theme, and proceeding to reinstall both). I’m good for now and plan to make a copy of templates before editing.

I don’t see any error messages here or symptoms of what they describe ^

That should read “tagdiv.” I don’t see any error messages or anything so don’t even know where to begin to troubleshoot. All I know is there is supposed to be a blue button so I can use it to create pages. Not sure where else it’s supposed to show up so I can edit my site.
