I fixed the problem… you just need to rename your child’s theme folder to “Newspaper-child” and thats all… it will run again with your child theme…. (don’t know why, but it works for me)

Sorry but it doesn’t fix the problem, it is still there… I’m in touch with the support email you gave me but it doesn’t sound good…

Nothing works, it only works when I deactivate the child theme and swith to the main theme… Can’t I use my child theme? and what happens with all my customizations in my child theme?

I have an error in console saying:
Uncaught TypeError: jQuery (…).sortable is not a function…
and so on…

I saw the problem is with css, I actually disable the combine and concatenate css files (and I need it) please, tell me wich css uses the search box so I can exclude only that css file and can concatenate the rest.

I saw that the base64 eval code is in the source of the theme. I’m not saying that it is a problem, just report you that a Wordfence’s plugin scan reports that those base64 code are usually injected by hackers. I saw your clean code, just downloaded from Envato, has this code from the beggining so I assume that it’s a clean and voluntary code, I just want to confirm it with your developers.

Newspaper have the same problem with other plugin that uses cron jobs, this new one is called: “Scrapes”.
Well, I found a fix in Scrapes page that solves both plugins problem, and that fix is in your theme.

you fixed the first file (td_cake.php), but not the second (td_js.php)
When I applied that fix in the second file the plugin runs again and all looks fine.

I write the plugin author to have the fix too, but I think you must fix that because that fix solves, at last, two plugins…

Same problem here! Need to use wp content crawler but it looks there is a problem between your theme and his plugin.
In the support of his page he says:

that there is a lot of people reporting the same issue and he gives some aswers for this.
A lot of people is using wp content crawler and wants to use your theme. Could you please give us a fix for that problem?

In other way I will must to change the theme because all my web is supported on that plugin.

Sorry for my bad english, perhaps I don’t explain myself properly but I have lots of post in the top big grid 3 block, but the images doesn’t fill their boxes.. is it posible to have a fix?

Same problem here, testing your theme have the same proble http://newspaper.swinger.land the image doesn’t fill up the entire top box, Have tons of post and can’t change all featured images… is there a fix for this?
