Hi,
thanks, but thats not the issue.

the files are in uploads folder:

/wp-content/uploads/tdm_pic_4.jpg
/wp-content/uploads/tdm_pic_9.jpg
etc.

problem is that they are not actually on the server anymore but remain in media:

how can i get rid of all these entries in Media for tdm_pic files?

Huge Performance issue. We see 40,000 queries per visit with this theme - reply

solved. seems there was a conflict with old plugins. After deactivation of these plugins the issue disappeared.
