why can’t we translate the home page in each language? there are elements that are not translated, why?

hemos solucionado gran parte de los problemas con tu tema y wpml, pero no podemos solucionar un problema importante: todos los artículos premium (exclusivo bajo suscripción) están disponibles en otros idiomas

ok great, it works, thank you.

We are busy translating by hand a lot of things that WPML does not detect in your theme. On the other hand, the “premium” articles become accessible by changing the language!

We have enabled the whole automatic translation system with WPML and some parts do not translate: https://share.cleanshot.com/p55bn9KH

– Some parts in the header and footer are not translated automatically
– The bio of the authors is also not translated automatically
– Exclusives are not displayed in other languages.
– Subscription pages are not translated either
– Images are not showing in articles

Any ideas to help us solve the problem?

yes that would be interesting

so if I understand correctly, the fact that it works for a vimeo video in the content in post is an error, it shouldn’t normally work? however it is very practical! since it works for vimeo, why don’t you embed it for youtube? it’s super practical, we don’t want to lose this functionality

it does not solve the problem and it does not answer the question why does it work with vimeo when the video is integrated directly into the article and why not with YouTube?

Example here with a YouTube video in the article that does not work: https://youpi.news/2023/05/02/test/

and another example here with a working Vimeo video:
https://youpi.news/2023/05/03/test-article-with-vimeo-video/

the question is why does it work with vimeo and not youtube?

I sent the support access by email, the test article is the first article on the site: https://youpi.news/2023/05/02/test/

screenshot : https://share.cleanshot.com/vT4Gl9vl

with these parameters, it works for vimeo but not for youtube!

Could you help us to ensure that “private” articles are not accessible by Google? To be able to create an option that allows us to choose whether the article under subscription should be visible or not by Google. Because we could have an option to choose whether or not we want for each private article to choose whether or not it should be accessible? do you have a customization or consultancy service?

I don’t understand your message at all! There is no error message! it’s just that the “youtube” video doesn’t display in sticky like the example with vimeo which works. So it works with vimeo and not with youtube, take a good look at the examples above.

Example of an embed with YouTube (it doesn’t work): https://share.cleanshot.com/7k7j7kgS

Example of an embed with Vimeo (it’s ok): https://share.cleanshot.com/NtpGJTkH

Thanks, we’ve done this before, it works fine for “Vimeo” videos but not for YouTube embed videos.

For VIMEO videos: it’s ok
For YOUTUBE videos: it’s not ok

A solution ?

it’s a shame because anyone can access the content without paying… Internet users will quickly get the message across and the viability of your system will very quickly be called into question. Removing a simple little tag or using a simple “anti-paywall” chrome extension and presto, all content is updated without a subscription. You should offer both options, allow to choose between “hidden for user and Google” and “hidden for use and not google” solution.

and we can do to completely block the content for Google? We don’t want certain content to be indexed by Google when it’s private! because anyone can crack access by simply removing the “tds-locked-content” tag! how best to protect it?
