You’re right, it was a plugin that updated a few days ago. The reSmush.it Image Optimizer plugin.

It changed from the thumbnail size to 1×1 on November 4th.

It says Jetpack has been tested though? Everything was working until two days ago. What’s going on?

I deleted the M1 section on my page that listed the most recent posts with a list of categories at the top to click and update the list (with the “load more” option at the bottom), and now I just use the regular post loop option and I think that fixed it.

Something was preventing M1 from updating posts on my page on mobile devices (iphone/fire tablet). I also added Nginx Helper plugin that purges cache, maybe that had something to do with it (?). But it should have worked with your WP Super Cache plugin settings you provided to begin with. The website is https://distresssedvolatility.com. I used to be able to show multiple categories next to the latest news title, which was cool because it would load the most recent posts for each category. Now I don’t do it.

I’m having this issue as well. Sometimes my front page freezes for over an hour when I check my page on my iphone. I have to click the “all” button to see the new posts.

Hey, nevermind… I think I’m just going to use categories to separate everything from the main feed/page. That will probably be much easier anyway. Thanks for all your help btw.

Thanks. I found that changing all of the 3E3 figures to 6E3 didn’t slow it down. I’m going to take it down, it’s too fast.

Ok I see. It’s confusing because I have to switch between TagDiv Composer, WPBakery, and the WordPress widget area.

Not category pages, the front static page with the ‘load more’ button at the bottom. When new posts are populated, the Reuters thumb doesn’t show.

It looks like this category thumbnail plugin doesn’t set a featured image in posts. I’m trying to find a solution to this with another plugin, but if you know of a way to fix this on the template’s end, that would help a lot.

For some reason the “random posts today” setting isn’t generating any posts on my grid. I checked out the block in the TagDiv Composer and it says “no posts”. My time is set to U.S. Eastern Time. If I change the element’s settings to anything else (including the other random post options) it shows posts.

Nevermind, I just got a prompt in my WP dashboard.
