Hi Andrei,

I’ll be sending you guys an email.

RE: permalinks – I’ve tried that a few different times.

I’ve also just setup another site (from scratch) with wordpress 4.5.1, and the latest version of NewsMag downloaded from envato (this one included Visual Composer v4.11.2) – and that site isn’t working either. I switch themes to a WordPress default, and it loads no problems.

Definitely ‘feels’ like something theme related.

Hey Andrei —
Great news, it worked! Thanks for that!

However, I’m still having issues with custom permalinks — the home page won’t load since doing an update on both wordpress core and the theme… I had hoped that it may have been VC that was somehow breaking it.
If I keep it to the standard ‘post-id’ style, it works, but anything else it breaks.

Any thoughts / ideas?

Hi all,

Just an update, I found that in my case the plugin ‘print post and pages’ (https://wordpress.org/plugins/print-post-and-page/) is what was causing the issue.

Not sure if it’s because it’s not confirmed to work with the latest wordpress, or it is in fact causing issues with another plugin; but if anyone else has this problem – check to see if that plugin is installed.

Thanks again!

Sorry, I’m down under and forgot about time / day differences 🙂

Thank you for your kind suggestion and input; the only issue is that looking back on email logs – it was when I did a theme update that it broke; so it seems weird that it somehow isn’t theme related.
And I agree that it’s likely some kind of conflict — somewhere. But I’ve not been able to track it down. Given that both the About and Home pages are static wordpress ‘pages’ and the rest are dynamically generated based on categories – I suspect that there’s something within that. Further, the About page has very little apart from text, so what could be stopping the twitter feed from working there? o.O

I’ll await official support response 🙂 Thank you again.

I understand what you’re saying.
But it is the themes default sidebar. It works on all the pages that are generated dynamically via categories. The code on those pages is the same.

Further, this does work. It just seems to stop working at really odd times (so far as I’ve been able to establish, it seems that it could be related to the update of the static home or about page).

I have disabled the plugin and it does not resolve the issue.

Any other thoughts?
