I’ve deleted 1068×580 thumbnail and galleries work fine, they are not cropped, but now (obviously) I cannot use the 3 cols IOS slider, for example for my homepage, because 3 cols IOS slider needs that size. So, it is not possible to use the 3 cols IOS slider and also use a normal wp gallery without having to crop the gallery images? It’s quite weird thing. Any hack to avoid this in a hook or filter?

is there a way to avoid de lightbox in galleries? If I set not to have a link, the theme includes an anchor.

Imagine my image is vertical: I upload a 1200×2000 image for example. I understand image being resized at 1068×1780 but not being cut at 1068×580. I want my gallery photos one below the other without being cut. I understand being cut in case I use Tagdiv Slide Gallery but not the builtin WordPress gallery

OK thanks! But I think newsticker module should work fine even if there is not any post in the filtered category. Most people use newsticker to show some breaking news but not to show always.

OK, i’ve investigated more, it’s not related to plugins or child theme, I tried that before. Here you can see what happens in those 2 test pages:

This works fine, newsticker shows some posts from a category and slider works fine.

But take a look here:

The only difference between these 2 pages is that in second one (http://harodigital.com/test-slider-newsticker-not-showing/), the newsticker is set to display posts from a categorý that currently has no posts. So newsticker doesn’t show (normal) but for some reason that generates a javascript error that makes the slider error.

It should be a bug.
